Good Omens official Teaser, courtesy of Amazon Prime:
“The end is nigh. #GoodOmens: Coming to Prime Video in 2019. Based on the best-selling novel by renowned authors Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, this series follows the story of Aziraphale, an angel, and Crowley, a demon, who have formed an unlikely friendship spanning 6,000 years and have grown fond of life on earth. However, the end of time grows near with the approaching Armageddon and they must now join forces to find a way to save the world.”
I’m delighted and amused by the trailer, and glad that the adaptation seems to live up to its original book, and have managed to deliver its humor and glory in a very visual way. My favorite is the part where Aziraphale lifts his wing and literally takes Crowley under it in emphasizing their long-term friendship.
you’ve gotta stat romanticizing your life. you gotta start believing that your morning commute is cute and fun, that every cup of coffee is the best you’ve ever had, that even the smallest and most mundane things are exciting and new. you have to, because that’s when you start truly living. that’s when you look forward to every day.
live your life like a ghibli movie where literally everything is charming and beautiful
it’s been almost a full year since my first comic with these two–>(x) it was really cool looking at how much my art style has changed since then. all of these comics right now are experimental but i might make a zine of these two in the future
Plus we could get Shuri supplying her with ridiculous gadgets, and her constantly giving reports to Okoye and the rest of the Dora Milaje, while T’Challa tries to calm his nerves and not freeze every time they do whatever Shuri’s version of Skype is.
I would LOVE this!
Nakia: so Shuri, what have you made for my next mission?
Shuri: I’m glad you asked. Check this out *holds up a pen* looks like an ordinary pen right?
Nakia: yes it does.
Shuri: well if you twist it everything with an internet connection and speakers within a 40 meter radius will loudly play Despacito
i was kind of at a loss for what to do with tonight’s inktober, so i had the idea to open one of my Junji Ito books to a random page and draw whatever i saw, which turned out to be this scary little puppet.
I think it’s telling about my tastes that I know the exact specific story this little fucker is from. What a jerk that guy is, lemmee tell ya.
Tho, it’s funny how by sheer coincidence that little creep’s actions remind one of The Great Fusili from Courage the Cowardly Dog, tho John Dilworth has mentioned he’s a fan of Junji Ito…
