so what I’m getting from this is basically that Loki sets up teams of Avengers for fun now. I mean:
1964: Loki accidentally forms the Avengers while trying to use the Hulk to defeat Thor.
1996: Loki accidentally forms the Avengers while trying to trick Thor into killing them.
2008: Loki deliberately helps form the Mighty Avengers (v. 2.0) while masquerading as Wanda Maximoff.
2013: Loki deliberately forms the Young Avengers by pretending to be trying to kill Billy Kaplan.
2018: Loki stages an invasion of Earth by evil Celestials, possibly with the intention of recreating the Avengers.
is this just like. what he does when he gets bored? make teams of Avengers?
pretty sure that was basically his stick in Norse Mythology, he cause trouble but then everybody ends up benefiting down the line. Thor getting a kickass hammer? Loki. Cool Horse? Loki. A new winter godess? Loki. A super hero team that protects the earth from any threat? Also Loki.
Loki is an unsung hero of the Marvel Universe and nobody will ever know.
My lovely fiancee @slamncram recently wrote and posted a Hades and Persephone inspired Thorki fic (the link is on her blog, my blog, and also if you want it you can message me, since idk if this will show up in the search if I link it) and this is inspired by that. First of probably many drawings for that wonderful beautiful story.
